Meet Bill Work
I started painting in 1974 with the conviction that when God gives someone a talent, one day that person will be accountable for what was done with that talent. I always knew I had artistic talent, so it was inevitable that I would use it to express my fascination with the world around me
. One of my fascinations is old homesteads, buildings that contained the lives and memories of families who once called these places home. This is how my story of art, photography, and dabbling with words started.
What started as a means of remembrance of things seen has now become a major means of artistic expression. For several years I have enjoyed photography and what the camera has afforded me. With the advance of digital photography I am able to capture the things that fascinate me, and to capture and express the ongoing story of my adventure, my world, and my life. Every person has a story and everyone should tell their story. This is my story!
